Green Design and Build is a licensed general contractor (CSLB #1110975) based at 16120 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91406, and works throughout Southern California: Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Orange County, western Riverside County and western San Bernardino County. The cities and neighborhoods below are where we take work, grouped by region. Cities and counties with their own page are linked, with a line on what that page covers; the rest are listed as plain text. If yours is not listed, it is worth calling anyway: the list is not exhaustive, and we travel.

Permitting is the part that changes from city to city. Los Angeles goes through LADBS, while Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Santa Monica and each Orange County city run their own building departments with their own submittal requirements on top of state law. We deal with whichever one your property falls under. San Fernando Valley

The same work everywhere we go: ADU construction and garage conversions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, room additions, whole-home renovations, roof replacement (performed and permitted under a C-39 Roofing license, by a roofing contractor scheduled and supervised by us), foundation and structural work, concrete and pavers, patio covers, retaining walls, artificial turf, fencing, outdoor kitchens and decks, landscaping and full backyard remodels. Design, permits and construction are handled in house, and every project gets a detailed written estimate before work begins.
